    1986 AE86 Corolla GT-S Supercharged

me too, done right they can be un-assumingly stunning... I am kinda partial to the initial D panda colour scheme... there is one rolling around waterloo (university area) that causes me to stare... niether did I but they made 40 @ $25K.... I think I would rather an un-official resto with a...

the wire is less than 8" away, assuming you did not remove your harness from the dashboard... look between the ac section of the HVAC and the radio... it should come from right around where the center console meets the dash on the passenger side.. on my 87 its a rectangle...

    Let me see your trunks!

never heard the Murano (1 sub) set - up, but in the FX45 (2 subs +amp) it definitely adds a nice touch to the low end. I think some may have an amp as an OEM upgrade but this did not. The FX45 that gave me the idea had a faulty amp. the spare tire mount was shortened 1", and I used the Murano...

    Let me see your trunks!

this set up is nearly done, I still need to shorten the wires, raise up the hinge points about 1/2", but I was going for a sneaky set up that does not interrupt the functionality of the trunk.. Syran wrap ruins the photo, but its re-wrapped in faux leather top/bottom Nissan Murano...

RonnieK subframe bushings + ST sway bars = interference

^well played sir, well played.... Philosophical moment; those who cannot laugh at themselves, should not laugh at anyone.... In my own defense ST was kind enough to place their sticker in an upside down manner, so when the bar was installed backwards the label would be clear when the car is...

RonnieK subframe bushings + ST sway bars = interference

So I was buttoning up the rear suspension on tuesday, and while installing the rear sway bar (a suspension techniques) I came to realize that the bar is pressed tightly against the rear subframe mount 'washer'. That 3" round concave bugger that fits into the bushings.... I can see that it will...

    aeromotive FPR Location question

never really considered that.... This chassis has been stitch welded inside and out (from the front strut towers to the rear strut towers - leaving front/rear crumple zones untouched) - pretty sure that a-pillar/frirewall corner is the strongest spot on the car, but I suppose there could be a...

    aeromotive FPR Location question

I have the driftmotion aeromotive 1JZ FPR kit, + USDM 550cc my issue is that given the amount of hose/pipe the FPR must sit above the heatercore outlet next to the brake booster... problem is, I have moved my engine harness firewall hole to this area and it is quite cluttered already... I...
