Hi,
I've just changed the fuel pump to the Walbro 255. Tried to start it today, nothing happens. Starter goes around but it gets no fuel pressure. Got a Aeromotive FPR.
I'm using stock wiring on the fuel pump. Connected it up exactly as old one. All the 3 hoses to the fuel tank were connected...
Thanks for replies so far.
So it's OK to just swap fuel pumps, and use stock wiring / not doing any changes what so ever? Not doing any tuning, just want the car to run smoothly without fuel cut.. main goal.
Basic mods worth mentioning:
Lexus AFM, 550cc's, AFPR, 2.5" IC pipes, Apex-i filter...
Angled and straight can both look good or not so good. I personally prefer a clean double tip angled exhaust!
Got angled on my car, but it's cheap ebay exhaust so isn't that clean. Not bothered doing anything about it tho.
Thanks!
Doesn't really push that much power, not been the goal so far.
Performance mods are: 550cc, AFPR, Lex AFM, Walbro 255, overhauled CT26, Apexi filter, 3" exhaust, 2.5" IC pipes, 3" radiator.
Hey.
They're wheel arches from a Opel calibra. Too hard to find originals..
Think I paid like $150 a piece. Need modifications tho, as you can see in the pics.

Hey,
I'm about to install the walbro fuel pump.. and wondering if I really need to do a 12V mod? What will happen if I use the stock wiring?
I've got no plans of tuning or such, only running Lexus AFM, 550s, AFPR. Just installing the walbro before selling the car.

Hey,
Been searching around, seems like the threads for stock water temp sensor location is tricky to figure out.
Does anyone know who sells a aftermarket sensor that fits? Or what adapter I need?
(I'd prefer to use ebay if its possible)

Just finished with engine bay for now. Hopefully starting to be able to post in this thread. Not really that modified, mostly show n' shine, but still got all basic upgrades.
I've gotta get better on updates..
Not really too much happening, slow progress, putting engine back together with new parts after bay respray.
Som teasers...
