Hey,

Been searching around, seems like the threads for stock water temp sensor location is tricky to figure out.

Does anyone know who sells a aftermarket sensor that fits? Or what adapter I need?

(I'd prefer to use ebay if its possible)

stock (and most japanese cars) are BSPT (british standard pipe thread), while most American cars, and most sensors, are NPT (National Pipe Thread). They are very close in size, but they aren't exact. You can easily wreck the threads if you put them together.

to solve this, two options: drill and tap, or adapter fittings. for fittings, try local hydraulic shops, they will have the same and more as an auto parts store, but will likely be cheaper. and grumpier from my experience.
