Ofcouse it is possible.
You can also use your old 440cc injectors with the lex afm. Even that is very well possible.
The real question here is do you really want to rely on older stuff in something as important as your fuel delivery?
It's the same as the 440 injector example above...
To be really safe you should always replace your 16 year old fuel pump by a new one when you are asking more from it than the factory specs.

The 550cc/lex upgrade should always be done in combination with a new (upgraded) fuel pump and an AFPR and/or other fuel management system. :)

Someone at ebay is selling complete aeromotive kits.
The kits comes with everything from the gauge to lines and fittings.
I bought it a few months back and use it on my 550cc/lex afm combination.
Also, from what I have been experiencing, I think the best way to do your fuel setup...

you can drill out the little iron plate they made over the screw.
then you can unscrew it and your afm will let more unmetered air pass.
The positive effect is that it will raise your fuel cut just a bit.
Don't do this unless you have enough mods to back this mod up like a wideband controller...
