    Alphabet soup instructions

Anybody have operation instructions for HKS VPC/GCC/AIC? The VPC is pretty simple but, no idea if the aux knob actually does anything in this configuration. GCC is simple as well but wanted to check dip switch settings on it. The AIC is rather cryptic as far as how to adjust it. Didn't really...

    Rant- Braided steel hose

I want to hear from some of the people doing this. What are you thinking?

    fresh motor, no start?

I'm wondering how you bolted up the converter without noticing this. Either the flexplate is on backwards, the converter isn't on right or you forgot the thrust washers on the crank.

    Rant- Braided steel hose

Goddamnit!:aigo::runaway::crazy1:::hang:: Next braided steel hose I see with a hose clamp on it, I think I'm going to go postal. If you want to use braided hose for whatever reason, use the hose ends as well. They go together for a reason! If you just have to use hose clamps, use a regular...

    fresh motor, no start?

Battery in the trunk? Probably a bad battery ground. Not going to do more than idle with the AFM code anyway though.

    stock motor mount limits?

Ooohh. Somebody finally started making import mounts like GM did back in the '60s. May be time to trade in the solids.

    What vehicle to tow with?

I agree with your dad and that is why I got the truck I did. The premium for a Diesel just isn't worth it unless you are literally going to be in it for the long haul. An LS motored GM, modular Ford or Hemi Dodge will have more than enough balls to drag around a Supra. A 3/4 ton pickup version...

    7M-GTE AEM EMS Pinouts Help?

Eh... The AEM comes with the extra plug you have circled on the EMS. It is there so that you have access to the extra inputs/outputs the AEM has. This is covered very well in the pinout that has been referenced to you numerous times in this thread. The rest of the stuff you have circled...

I'd say about 231 crank hp. Mine broke with 232 crank hp. :p

Nah, my trailer weighs alot. Moo-haul is about average.

    What vehicle to tow with?

U-haul wouldn't rent you a trailer if you told them you planned to put a Supra on it and tow it with a Jeep.

JT2MA71's Build. Dyno video on post # 1191

Another fine build Mr. Ramirez. I loved your old 7M but hated that it never came anywhere close to its potential as far as making power and using it. Will you actually lean on this one a bit, please? :D

Kind of Person who bought MK3 Supras back then.

I'm one of the ones that bought a Lexus later. The SC was closer to a succesor to the mk3 than the mk4 was, IMO. The SC is gone to its new home tonight though and the mk3 is still here.

    What vehicle to tow with?

I have an '05 K2500 Silverado for a Supra hauler. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and haul the Supra all the way across the country. It is 100% reliable with the HD driveline and 6.0 gas engine, comfy too and the brakes are excellent. Fuel economy isn't the greatest but I still prefer it...

Kind of Person who bought MK3 Supras back then.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What? I have an '89 in the shop that is an original owner car. He is a Jamacian guy that works for the Highway department. I also bought my '90 from the original owner in '93. He was a microsurgeon and bought the Supra for his kids to share before they left for college. It was...

    7M-GTE AEM EMS Pinouts Help?

What I meant was that if you aren't very good with computers (like reading file extensions etc.) you will not have much luck with AEM either. Alot of shops have other shops or tuners do the tuning for them...
