Yes, the G35 and 350Z have spacers as mod for completely different reasons as mentioned above. Some of the cylinders in these two cars are starved of air compared to the other cylinders, the spacer raises up the top plenum, thus allowing more air into all cylinders, helping equalize the amount...

GT35R isn't that big for a 3.0L ;)

Smaller wastegates will allow you to keep higher pressures easier whereas a larger wastegate will be able to regulate lower boost pressure easier.

I alway thought the supra was considered the, "Japanese muscle car"... :dunno: I guess the Corvette is a muscle car :)

It's probably in the oil pan or worked it's way into the bearings if it was somehow sheared up, but I doubt that.

Build a tester. Go over the intercooler piping once again. If it all looks fine, tighten up the clamps, every one of them, one or more may be loose, causing you to leak boost between the rubber coupler and the plastic piping, but I would hazard a guess and say that the leak is probably due...

Dr Haas didn't make this assesment the SAE did. IIRC the Dr. hasn't proven this data as being false yet... :)

Damn, did you clean it as well? Or was it steam cleaned? How's the head look for that cylinder? Find the other part of the broken piston?
