which is the best fuel filter?

OEM I wouldn't put a Fram filter of any type on my worst enemy's vehicle :nono:

Good Idea, Is there Interest Targa Strut bar:

Better hit him up on that offer, a shit ton of time and effort went into making that piece. His version of a targa brace is the best I've seen thusfar.

HKS downpipe and 3inch elbow. (not gonna work?)

You may want to look into another brand of DP if you want a full 3" exhaust. The 2.5" will reduce your power down some versus a full 3". How much power will you loose? Hard to say, stock boost, somewhere between 10-15HP if you've got a full 3" after the DP probably...

88 Turbo Old Man Project Car

The test is basically used to see if the aluminum head has gone soft (usually on the exhaust side, rear ports) due to an overheat, if it has, start sourcing another head. This is the very first thing you should have your machinist do is test for this, if it's soft, it's junk. Don't spend a...

    anyone using synchronic BOV

Just an FYI, you're running over 7 psi is you're anything BUT stock ;). I have the synapse synchronic also, I was the first to put one on a MKIII IIRC, still haven't had an issue with mine, works better than the HKS SSQV I had on it previously (it didn't surge or anything, just wasn't my...

Good Idea, Is there Interest Targa Strut bar:

The first poster to your concers made targa braces for a long time, he dubbed them "WeezLWings". You may want to consult with him on these to get a good idea on what to expect when fabbing them up and how well they actually sell.

88 Turbo Old Man Project Car

That's odd... IIRC stock height is 116 even, you sure there wasn't some debris on the surfaces where you were measuring? sounds like that head is untouched as far as even being resurfaced. Get it hardness tested first.

Notice of Sustained High Bandwidth Usage

What site fuzz? I've been getting about 500K/sec download rates so shouldn't take too long to get a movie, or two, five, twenty ;).

    oil in exhaust manifold

Yes, a composite gasket is going to be much more forgiving to an uneven head/block. Just as Ian said, keep the boost to a minimum to get you by. BTW, I NEVER post "bhg" unless I mean it, it wasn't a joke ;).

T4 Exhaust Manifold with External wastegate

Don't you mean "semi-retired"? I do recall you posting that up one time ;).

T4 Exhaust Manifold with External wastegate

In other words, "if you throw enough money at me, I MAY consider making one for you." ;)

    oil in exhaust manifold

The one that's one right now is what I'd say Ian's talking about, but if I were you, I'd go ahead and check the one that you're getting ready to put on, just to be safe ;).

    Full boost lose power!!!

40 psi on stock 440 injectors maybe, but not on 550's! That's a lot of fuel you're squirting into the motor. Do yourself a favor and do this first, it takes 3 minutes tops. Don't put your new spark plugs in until you do what John suggested. You risk fouling out those expensive, brand new plugs...
