YOU ARE FOREWARNED.
I just rid myself of my Nexen N3000 tires from my DD.
It's a FWD 2003 Eclipse GT.
Tire pressure kept at 35 psi religiously all the way around
235/45/17's all around
The fronts were okay, strange enough, but the two rears both had the belts break in them...
I wouldn't know, but IJ. would, he's tested at least 5 heads and knows what to look for, I know the one on my car right now is soft because: 1.) It's had at least two BHGs from the previous owners, and 2.) The exhaust threads have stripped out, most likely due to the metal softning up.
I waited until the last minute and got a refund, I knew I would too, but I just put it off until I couldn't no longer.
Only got back $650.00 Federal, owed the State $212.00, My deduction were set wrong, they're now fixed :).
You may want to see if you are leaking exahust gases into your coolant, you can get a test kit for this at NAPA. The smoking white at startup leads me to think one of two things: Coolant in the combustion chamber from leaking and pooling in overnight, or like what Nick mentioned earlier.
Heads are the same, but there are different castings. I remember reading through Doward's list of mods one time and seeing that he had a certain casting of a head for the 7M and in parenthesis it said, "the higher flowing one" So I'm not entirely sure if there are different ones or not. You may...
Suze, the Walbro you got came off of ebay from what I just read (it's late here and I'm tired, so I may have misread).
I wouldn't trust a Walbro from ebay, they are damn near impossible to tell the difference from when you have the real deal sitting right next to it. The are engraved the...
No it's not, it's a brand new model of BOV that came out last year, it doesn't have a diaphram like most other BOV's and is even faster to react than the HKS SSQV.
Where did you buy it at?
You sure it's a genuine Walbro and not a china knockoff?
How much did you pay for it?
Sorry to be nosy, but answering these questions will help out a lot on determining the culprit, or at least ruling a few things out.
One house if you're really lucky and find someone with an intelligence around your area and you trade your supra for it with zero down and 9% APR for 50 years.
3" is way too close, you need to look at the instructions that come with the wideband sensor, it should say in there somewheres how far away the sensor is supposed to be placed.
Pacesetter also sells an OEM like replacement exhaust system for when yours rusts out (like mine did), it's probably the cheapest one out, somewhere around $150.00-$200.00
Here's one...
Just keep what you have in that case, no need in buying another for such a small gain in power when you're going to need a new DP fabb'd up later on anyways.
