haha - sounds like you don't need to go to track days - leaving for work and returning home are fun enough 1J :P
I've just bought some braided front brake lines, Motul RBF600 (660 is stupidly expensive for such a small temp gain) and Mintex 1166 pads. Should be ok I hope. I'll report back after...
I have mintex 1166 pads already. I just don't have a whole lot of faith in the stock disks ability to dissipate enough heat when I jump on the picks at the end of the straight doing 145-150mph......
Hey all
Is it possible to put bigger disks on, without doing anything else? Maybe just changing pads?
Basically I'm asking, can you use the stock calipers (with adapters) on bigger rotors?
Yeah because your BOV is venting to atmo so the ECU pumps in fuel for all that air it thinks the engine's getting
Vent your BOV into your intake - problem solved....
Man - what is everyone "the city doesn't owe you shit!" ?
Go for it man! Fu(k I'd hit the city up for all their worth (which often isn't much hah!). That could've caused massive damage! Assuming your car is legally low of course! Imagine if your exhaust came off and flew into another car/person?
Yeah - the boot lip probably wouldn't really help much. I'm really focusing on a diffuser now to help air escape the rear cleanly, rather than getting caught up in the bumper which will (I hope) in turn create a low/negative pressure zone, sucking the car to the road.....
I'm still unsure how...
Hey guys
I'm starting to really get into track racing - even though I've only been once haha.
Anyway - I'm wanting to make my GA70 a fun, fast, and decent track car.
I have no spoiler at all on the back. I have lowered the car and it sits on a slight rack from front to back. The front is...
Hey guys
If some of you are unsure what TVIS is - here's a basic run-down
Instead of 6 intake runners, there's 12 with butterflies on every second runner. These butterflies close at low RPM which intern increases the intake air/fuel's velocity giving more low down torque.
The standard...
Ok what I don't understand - is it the size of the disk that isn't up to the job? or the calliper? I mean, if I'm able to stomp on the brakes, and get fade, its going to be from the fluid boiling, or the pads gassing out.
What's a bigger calliper going to do? Why would a "stronger" calliper...
ummmm - any form of measurement to another similar - i.e. cm to mm - that kind of thing. I'm sure as hell not going to list all it converts. Try it and see for yourself
