Well I had previously dyno'd at 320rwhp in 4th with a 4.5:1 diff. Suprafest dyno guys put it in 3rd with my 3.9:1 diff and I only got 230rwhp. Drag racing the next day proved the car was not having issues, and the only thing I changed (other than getting some joiners removed and the joins welded...
What would happen if your car was dyno'd in 3rd (being a manual it should be done in 4th)?
Has anyone compared 3rd gear pulls to 4th and the power readings for each?

The dyno on sat was a joke. Somehow I lost almost 90rwhp - I knew I shouldn't have washed the car. Oh well not to worry.

Last weekend was SupraFest08 for New Zealand.
I placed my person best of 13.63 @ 169kmph. Track was very slippery as it was un-prepped.
We were using the club system so didn't get 60ft n all that.
I won fastest MK3 tho :)
Now to race on a prepped track and sort my launch control out and get...

Anyway - because I'm sick of young pricks in evo's and gsr's and wrx's who think they're they shizz because they've somehow venting their internal wastegate to the atmosphere (and evo's and gsr's sound "the worst" for that kind of thing).

My LC1 is great.
The ONLY issue I have, is that the brains of the unit sits on the end of the O2 sensor cable which is only a few feet long, so the brains ends up being on the firewall.
Hmmmm - sounds like it could be a real design flaw. What would happen if you ran a bit more oil than it recommends? It suggests 1.3Litres. What would it mean if there was 1.5 or more in it? Would it aerate the oil too much?
It feels quite rough when turning the input shaft.
The oil is "Valvoline Gear Oil LS, SAE 90 Limited slip gear oil"
No clatter at low speed turns. The noise doesnt seem to change if I'm full lock left or full lock right, just an annoying whine.....
