I would've thought the best/safest option would be to drive it directly off the crank - otherwise you're introducing another failure point (crank to water pump belt) into the mix?
Hey all
What oil/fluid can people recommend for a W55 gearbox?
I've tried Redline lightweight shockproof in my (now dead) W57 and I had bad crunching issues with that.

Quick question. Should I wind the idle screw (I assume that's what it is) in my throttle body all the way in (closed) or out (open) to tune the idle? I've changed throttle bodies since my car was on the dyno and I can't remember what my old one was set to for tuning.

Regarding the drag antilag - I have it set up so I can sit at around 6,000rpm on 10psi using this setup:

Off above 11psi
IGN miss fire seq - 2
fuel trim 20.00%
IGN trim -56%
How can I get it to backfire and put on a bit of a show?

I've got a larger 1 1/16th Master cylinder
I have a choice of 35mm (1.3778") or 44.5mm (1.7519")
It's been suggested I should go for the larger caliper piston size - but I'd still really like to know what the standard single pot MK3 front...
