I grabbed some autolites the other day but they weren't 3923's. (since I've got damn near 30,000 miles on my iridiums) I just took what the guy at the parts counter gave me for a 7mgte. What's the big deal with the "3923's". My cars runnin fine with the ones I just put in.
p.s. I measured...
i hd that same problem for the longest time. once in a while the car would decide not to start. i'd get out, jiggle the cps wires and she'd start right up. check the cps via the tsrm. mine also gave that little cough as you called it. crank crank cough crank crank cough.
I'm with peteyturbo. Take the drivers side inspection plate off and look in there while somebody presses the pedal to see if the pressure plate is fully disengaging.
redline heavy shockproof in the 5spd
redline 75-90 in the diff
on a side note:
I had mobil 1 75-90 in the diff with lsd additive and it was giving me all kinds of problems. Making noise when turning and going slow and crap like that. Switched up to the redline and she's smooth as hell.
I was just thinking the same thing! I usually hate revving it but last night I tore the tires loose at the top of first gear and it instantly plowed into the rev limiter.
iirc on my stock ct 26 boost dropped off at 5000 on the dyno. so that's about where I shift at the track. I think I hit...
Don't mean to thread jack but...
I have a buddy with a 97 Eclipse GST. Apparently they have fuel cut problems too. Just with the apexi safc he's running 21psi with no fuel cut. Does the afc actually raise fuel cut since the ecu isn't seeing the correct amount of air?
huh.... I just spent like 2 hours reading this WHOLE thing. Some really good stuff. We have a lot of great people on these forums.
Hmmmm..
I am 22 years old and lived in the same town for....22 years
I'm like...5'7"ish 120-135 lbs (I can gain and lose weight without even noticing)
My...
yup...I know a LOT of guys that do that. I don't need the pussy but it really sucks since you miss out on decent conversation and a good night when you're friends won't SHUT THE FUCK UP!
my 87 and late 89 locks are exatly the same. i'm actually usig the 87 cylindr in the 89 husing now.
i'm sure the ignition is more difficult but if you do it slow and pay attention to detail i'm sure it's do-able
word. I'd be S.O.L. if I had never found this site. We appreciate the time and money spent into making this place what it is today.
p.s. what's the RAM upgrade do/for?
yeah, I wish I had keyless entry. As long as you use the locks they work fine but my dads truck (99 silverado) with keyless entry the locks hardly work at all since they've almost never been used.
my dome lights come on when I pull the handle and the car is locked and such but the LED...
If you take out the afm (on a stock car) the car will start and run. But the moment you give it more gas it'll sputter and want to stall or it will stall.
sounds like a plan reign
I was using this stuff called "lockeeze" or something like that but I ran out and wanted to try something new hoping for an even smoother operating lock (a graphite lube is better but I do this evey year so dust isn't a problem). You could alwasy call the stealership...
