    not compleatly true....if you go too slow it can actually destroy the finish from rolling chips...there is a proper speed and feed for every tool and every material....aluminum generally is a high rpm tool speed with a medium feed rate or else you get tool rub...if your machinist sacrafice...

    Couple Of Diff Questions.

    I wouldn't pay a mechanic to remove the diff!!! It's stupid easy to remove...you don't even have remove the driveshafts from the car...just unbolt them from the diff and pull the cup back off the studs. It's actually kinda fun...and a one arm retarded monkey could do it.

    sounds like a blown bearing race....and is the metal blue from heat on that end of the shaft??? If so my bet is the bearing that's on that part of the shaft. And nothing should move 1/4" in a transmission...thats nuts!!

    no...LOL...not with a 240 with a 7m....a ford escort clutch could probably hold 400hp in a 240 LOL....a w58 trans and clutch could probably support 400hp in that car.....hell I've had shits that probably weight more.
