not really increasing volume with that screw....your just letting more unmetered air in...the car will flow the same amount of air but just won't let the ecu know....all in all a bad idea without a piggyback and wideband to make sure you don't go lean.
I really don't think there is "tricks"...only 1 way to install a motor, and that's the right way (by the book). Although 1 tip is to have the wire harness installed on the motor first before putting it in the car...makes pluggin in connections much easier.
Also have as much crap installed on...
highly doubt it will make the ride ruff at all....but im sure it will transfer alot of road noise into the car....you probably wont even notice a difference over "new stock".

and what education do you have that makes you think your tests are good? Do you major in fluid dynamics and thermal effecient? What kind of equipment do you test your used oils and what tools did you use when you broke your motor down to inspect wear?
