with that money you already have tied into the motor and intake I'd recomend going with a standalone computer.....and I wouldn't waist $500 on an upgraded ct at this point have you considered a different turbo and external waistgate? It would be a shame to blow a nice built motor cause of...
awesome....not saying it will blow.....just saying that's what they are know to do....which is why the most common upgrade is a 57 trim as it's a happy medium between reliable and hp...
I'd expect to hear something like that from someone who made of money such as yourself and can afford two cars...but us lower class folk have rent to pay, bills to pay and don't have help from moms and pops....
I'm going to have correct you on the stainless steel comment....I can think of 8 different stainless steels off the top of my head....some stainless steel has carbon in it which causes rust, the more carbon the harder the metal....carbon also sucks for welding....it's not that it isn't real...
Hks is by far the best gasket.....all metal gaskets should be done to hks standards of ra specs....a metal gasket is a metal gasket and the smoother the decks the better....cometics are probably the most popular as they are cheaper and have every damn size you could need and they also will make...
more than likely yes...it's just a better way to oil the turbo...but it doesn't make it a super special ct....if your turbo is a 61-1 or 60-1 it probably won't last long anyway.
depends on what you want to do to the motor and how much damage is done....what are your power goals? But to give a ruff idea...$1500-$10,000
Tried to narrow it down for you...
damn this slipped my mind....go to www.kgcoatings.com. They sell a product called gun-kote....it's was designed for firearms...the stff is cheap, tuff as all hell, very chemical resistant and can take extream temps....it bonds to metal and plastic....most of the finished are satin-flat...
figured you only wanted the valve covers done...which I would recomend anodizeing as it's fucking sexy....but you probably won't find a paint to match unless you can use a hobby paint from a hobby shop that sells rc cars...don't know what kind of paint it is but they always have radical colors...
it's not paint it's anodizeing....considering the valve covers are aluminum the also can be anodized....start calling "metal finishing/coating" places and see if they have a deep purple anodizeing...you can even go to a local machine shop and they can point you in the right direction to metal...
don't try to blame your comeing out of the closet on others...now we know your sexual prefrence and you can't backtrack now....LOL
As if duane doesn't have better things to do other than make your posts gay....you do that on your own LOL ...jk
you need to take the naked head to a machinist and have him measure how tall it is....the trsm tells you what it's supposed to be and how much metal can be removed....you can use a regular gasket but if it's been cut then you will also be raising compression which isn't that good...you also risk...
Could be but I think the vacume caused my the turbo and motor would still suck more than the bov...it should keep all vapors clear of the afm...but I'm no scientist..
