ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....newsflash- the SRT4's BOV is integrated into the compressor housing. i.e. you're not going to use it on any other car (unless you swapped on their peashooter?).
i think you're misunderstanding me- there ARE advantages to BB turbos. spool is slightly faster, they're more resistant to abuse, etc. but MY thoughts/experience state that the advantage isn't what it's blown up to be on the 'net....are BB turbos better? yup. is it worth the price? probably not...
very true. lag IS overrated and completely subjective. for a long time i've been wanting to compile a list of turbos/mods w/some solid spool characteristics- i.e. go WOT in 5th gear on the road 1500 RPM, record boost level...
heh. there's A LOT more to it- compressor + turbine size, then A/R of both housings...
and as we've discussed before, BB doesn't really decrease overall spooltime, just the transition into boost.
close. MA71 only appears in the VIN, indicating a 7MGTE equipped car (MA70 = 7M-GE). ALL A70 chassis are stamped MA70....if you did search you would have found a thread debating this long ago (or was that on SF?).
it doesn't work because you are using malloy's old unit w/the FI pull-up resistor clipped. you will need to reconnect it in order to enable the MAFT pro to read FI. check your codes, you probably have the AFM related ones since the ECU isn't seeing any freq input.
depends on what you want to...
