    3.4L V-6 swap?

This is certainly the first time I have heard someone ask about the 5VZ into a supra. While I would agree it is a great motor, its a great motor for a truck. I would go for a 1JZ or a 1UZ if putting the motor into a MK3. I put a 1JZ into my previous 87 Supra and loved it so much that I just...

Upgraded front brakes 300 zx calipers.

What about using 350z track rotors with 95-00 Lexus LS400 4-pot calipers? They go for about $60 +core and almost identical to a MK4 TT caliper.

Sold the supra and bought an Audi, Pics!

I know I need to work on rims. By the way, can you give me any more info about the guy you know doing VW/Audi tuning? If hes that good and experienced Id be willing to make the drive and shell out the cash for quality work. (its hard to believe a former MKIII owner said that last sentence...

Nice man, it looks really good. You should have gone with the 1.8T, its only 150hp but you can chip it and upgrade the turbo to a bolt on from the Audi TT and have around 250hp. Plus As of now I am getting 420miles to a 15 gallon tank (28mpg average).

Thanks man, I will just have this car as a driver and lightly modify it untill I get out of college. Then Ill absolutely get another Supra, probably MKIII ( have a real soft spot for them) or maybe a MKIV.

lagged- I love that car, your buddy really maintained it very well. Im really interested to see what he will be able to get out of my old supra. dons1mpson- Its a tiptronic gearbox so its certainly not the best but it does shift very smoothly. Over all im happy with it though.

Sold the supra and bought an Audi, Pics!

I know, im working on it. Im not doing any kind of aftermarket modifications until I take care of all tune up and current issues (spark plugs, needs a wheel bearing, a few gaskets, and fix anything that needs to be fixed). Then ill get a nice filter, ECU chip, bigger injectors, and K04 turbo...

Sold the supra and bought an Audi, Pics!

This past weekend I traded my 87 Supra for a 1999.5 1.8T Quattro Tiptronic. I’m not sure what the exterior color is called but it’s almost Titanium like. Anyway its bone stock except for a head unit. Has 77k miles on the clock, new timing belt, tie rods, all new tires and brakes. I needed a...

It is fairly difficult to replace the lower pan while in the car, I would wait and and replace it while its on an engine stand. Also a new lower pan from toyota is like $92ish. I had to get one for my 1JZ. And that is a Soarer 1JZ. To make for the easiest swap into a supra you will need a...

Can you get a side profile picture of the motor? From the looks of it right now, it looks like it came out of a toyota chaser. Also take a picture of the ECU plugs with out the harness plugged in. EDIT: oh and the throw out bearing on the clutch is just fine, its supposed to be like that...
