From what I've heard, you have to be careful not to let them coil up when you take them off the car or else they will lock up.

I've wondered about that. There's an 89 turbo here in town that's been sitting at a shop for probably close to a year, but I haven't checked into the process. Plus, I have too many other toys at the moment. :biglaugh:
