believe it or not...i've actually traveled over 500 mph in my 7mgte stock.
of course this takes into count the earth's rotation and it of course traveling around the sun.....see...thought i was lying didn't you......
it's not cool cuz it's so "fast"....silly!....it's cool cuz it's original...they're are not many left....and someday that will be more "classic" than today....of course speed is awesome....but so is classic and original...like a virgin...wait what are we talking about again?
does anyone hav a mkiii that they kept original...or are trying to restore to original?...most of us want a bad ass supra with tons of pwr....but it would be cool if someone kept theirs original....anybody?....pic?...
ok....so....from what i've heard from a few of you....the MKIII Stock ABS...is actually better than some of the standard issue ABS on newer cars?....is this true?...Like an ABS that only kicks in at the last sec...and doesn't really get in the way of normal day to day back and forth......so how...
damn....that does blow...
I recently had to move out and put the poopra on hold for lack of a garage...
seems like the least of your troubles is your cars tho...
you should get a big "bad religion" sticker and put it on the back of ur supra....that'll piss'em off...ha
good luck
thanks for the input....yes because it's ugly....and it's weight...and toyota's ABS technology wasn't all that in the 80's ya know?....my car weighs 3600 lbs....so anything i can shave and get away with....ya know?....
(and yes....because it's ugly...lol)
Hello mkiii peeps….wondering if anyone has taken the ABS unit on the passenger side under the hood off…..good idea?...bad Idea?.....breaks will still work>?....that thing is ugly as shit and has got to go….so here’s the question…..can I do without it?....pros? cons?

THe cheapest ive found for a good quality rebuild (new crank bearings, polished crank, new forged pistons, rods, HG, block preasure check, check/ replace cams flow head...etc...) was about 1450. Pacific Engines in seattle. These guys knew what motor I had over the phone just from "80s turbo...
happened to me too, it feels a tiny bit sloppy but not much. here's a tip though.... take care with the old oil.. it stinks really bad like all gear oil......it will ruin anything...don't ask ME how I know..lol
