hey guys been having a problem with my one j. i just installed a set of mkiv 550's and an afpr kit from dirtmotion. the car idles fine and drives real good normal drivng but when i go wot it cuts out in the higher rpm. the first test drive it would cut out at like 5500, i lowered my fuel...

who here is using map ecu on their 1jz? how do you like it? i hear it is really easy to tune on the 1jz. anyway what do you think about it?

hey guys. not sure what is goin on but all of a sudden my car is spiking up to 23 psi boost. but wont hit fuel cut before that? could it be my map sensor or turbo pressure sensor? im gonna swap them out in the morning. but wanted to see if you guys had some advice

hey guys had a problem with my boost controller today, i couldnt get a display, and couldnt figure it out. well i found out what it was finally. the wiring harness for the display all three of the wires broke at the connector, so i need some pics of yours so i can figure out where these things...

who is using them and how do you like it? good clutch for 1jz? thinking about the rally series stage 1. south bend says the hold 400 ft. lbs. should be fine for my 1jz with intake,exhaust,ebc @15, ic/hp. but want others opinions on them, will these clutes give problems with crank walk? thanks...

hey guys im going to be purchasing a new kit soon. but not sure if i should do 2.5 or 2.75" pipes. is that gonna make that much of a differnce? on my old 7m i did 2.5" and thats a big step up from stock pipe size, thats why i think i should do the 2.75" whats your opinions? thanks Mike

hey guys, i searched but didnt really find much. just wondering who has put upgraded cams on a basically stock 1jz? ive got intake, full 3" turbos back exhaust, and profec e01. what kind of gains could i expect. for the money i figured id rather go for cams and not intercooler and hardpipes...

hey guys trying to setup my greddy profec e01 .not sure if the 1jz has normal or reverse tps type. normal as in increases the throttle signal voltage as the throttle opens or reverse as in decreases the throttle signal voltage as the throttle opens. thanks Mike

i agree, it seems too thick 104 cst @ 40c and even 18 cst at 100c.:aigo: but i am curious j dub what how bad do you think it would be if i ran someething like the mobile clean 5000 5w-20 low as 47.8 cst but also 8.5 cst at 100c. compared to something as thick as the enoes 0w-50 or maybe not...

hey guys well i was driven around tonight. and when i boosted my car cut out and started stutering and i cant boost past 8psi. but when i ease into the gas no problems, and the gauge goes up fine. what do you think?

sup guys. well i just installed a boost controller on the 1j today. i read a few threads saying it was a pain in the ass. and once i looked at it i was ready for a battle with this thing. :biglaugh: but it actaull y wasnt to hard to do, i did some custom tool creating and it went pretty smooth...
