hey guys im going to be purchasing a new kit soon. but not sure if i should do 2.5 or 2.75" pipes. is that gonna make that much of a differnce? on my old 7m i did 2.5" and thats a big step up from stock pipe size, thats why i think i should do the 2.75" whats your opinions? thanks

I run 2.5" on the hot side and 3" on the cold side.

I need to look into this more on my own setup...but the correct way to do this would be to match your piping to your current setup.

What is the diameter of your turbo outlet, and what is the diameter of your throttle body? Using any other size will not help performance, and in theory will reduce performance. If you use reducers/exducers to mate up the pipes, this creates unneeded drag and pressure drops across those couplers.

Use the smallest pipe possible...any larger and you are creating excess volume that needs to be pressurized by the turbo.

I have 2.5'' alum pipes on my car. Old setup: 2.5 couplers to everything, then 2.5 to 3'' on the TB. New setup will have more couplers to fit the new (and bigger) fmic
