I've ran .9" closer to suspension on 275/35-18x9.5 +35.

I'm currently on 255/35-18x9.5 +12 up front and its 1.6" closer to fender.
Rears are 265/35-18x10.5 +22 and 1.6" closer to fender as well.

I'm planning on going 275 or 285 in the rear because I still have room. My fenders are only rolled. I think I might need a pull in the front, by nothing major. Try plugging in some of the other wheels people posted up and see the limit on what you can run. I've posted the max I've ran. Hope it helps.

Thanks, I will do that. I just wondered if the max numbers were known, because it's a standard. Having the wheel off and measuring can't be done properly I don't think because the wheel swings up and in when you lower the car (not a lot... But a fair amount.

Alright guys.... I know I'm a vendor here BUT i'm good at motors and chassis, not tires and fitment. So...... I really like Kevin's setup at the following post:

19x9.5 +22 (245/30/19) **rolled**
19x10.5 +22 (305/25/19) **Roll&Slight pull

Link to his post: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?56843-Wheel-Fitment-amp-Question-Thread&p=1985558&viewfull=1#post1985558

I wanted to do:

F: 18x9.5 +30 with a 275 (this is the proper width tire for a 9.5" wheel and with the weight of the front, I would like the meaty tire up front)
R: 18x10.5 +30 with a 295 (more clearance with a slightly smaller tire and a slightly higher offset to bring it in at the fender.

Things I am un-certain about:

1. I have a brembo kit front and back, I would hate if they don't clear. How can I know?
2. I am still uncertain of the profile size on the tire. I feel I almost need to stagger it front to back.
3. With a +30 in the front with a 275 hit the coil over? I'm certain I have to get rid of the fender liner, thats fine.

The fronts should not be a problem with the tire and wheel size. I've ran 275/35 on 18x9.5 +22 and +35 up front with no issues. You will need a roll. +30 seems fine.
The rears, I'm not completely sure on the tire size. Should be doable. I'm on 265 on my 10.5, but with a +22 offset. I can run maybe 285. But you might be able to pull off the 295 with that offset.

BBK Clearance is dependent on the wheel. Every wheel is different. I'd probably suggest a test fit if you can.
275/35 up front and 295/30 in the rear. Actually just did a little research
The fronts will be good. I'd try to keep the fender liner, just trim the part where it connects to the part of the fender that gets rolled. (sounds funny, but I'm sure you can figure it out)

I have a similar setup if you look at my latest post: http://www.supramania.com/forums/sh...stion-Thread&p=2009310&viewfull=1#post2009310

However, I've rubbed up driveways and kind of buckled the fender a little bit, but nothing on regular driving. But I'm running more aggressive offsets and will definitely need a slight pull.

Yeah... I remember seeing your post. Very good information indeed. I really appreciate the answers. I'm going to probably buy one wheel to check for fitment on the BBK, this is of large concern.

Do you feel any difference with the 275 up front? Do you feel the car is more neutral and controllable with a larger contact patch?

Hoping someone can help me. Looking at new wheels for my 88. Specifically XXR 531's. My car is lowered about 1.6" or so, with Lotek springs and KYB Struts. I want to stick with 18's, like I have now, but my current wheels are only 7.5" wide and I have no clue of the offset.

I want to run 265/40/18s on the rear. Then 225 or 235/40/18's on the front.

Now my current wheels have 235/50/18's all around except the front rubs, as I need to roll and pull the fenders. Rears fit just fine without anything at the moment.

Will 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +35 work? Or should I be after something different?

Hey guys got a bit of a fitment question to run past you all

Ive just brought a set of 17x8 +32 and 17x9 +38 Rays Volk CV-Pro wheels for my MA70

They were to cheap to turn away and in surprisingly very good condition considering
there age, and had all the covers and center caps :D

However i have upgraded 4-pistion brakes (nightpager kit) on the supra and the wheels don't clear the brakes :(
They foul on the nuts on the inside of the wheel, from a quick measurement require around a 15-18mm spacer
However due to wheel spacers requiring "certification" in New Zealand id rather go without them and change the offset to clear the brakes?

My question is, if i get another set of these wheels and mix and match them (being 3-piece),if the offset was say +15 for example
Would that clear my brakes? for that more central offset would the hub mounting plate be longer therefore closer to the center of the wheel and giving me more brake clearance off the inside of the rim?
Or would the less of positive offset mean less barrell width more front lip width and the center bit be the same?

Sorry just that technical side of wheels is where my knowledge lacks
Thanks
Nick

Problem will be with changing barrels or lips is the wheel face will remain the same so you will still need a spacer to clear calipers. If you got a different set and managed to find some with a different disk offest face im sure this whole exercise will cost maybe more than spacers and cert. Btw are you on nz supra owners or southern supras on fb? Where you from?

There is another option being 3 piece you maybe able to reverse mount the face it just depends on what the shape of the rear barrel is. This will give you a little extra brake clearnce if its touching the bolts that hold the wheels together and also lower the offset but its likely to only give you only about 5-10mm depending on how they are mounted now

Hey guys i have a question about pulled fenders since the PO had the rears pulled and added wheel spacers. i was wondering how i can run the car without wheel spacers but have the car look good because right now i am running rpf1s 17x8? front and rear and stretched 215/45/17 tires.

basically what tire setup should i run to have the tires and wheel combo look good on the car without running wheel spacers.
any thoughts greatly appreciated

Thing is po had the spacers on it, and without then the car looks crappy, and my rims are 17s, and can't really afford any others right more,

I'll find out the offset later today or tomorrow morning

Depends how low the car is but without a roll in the rear i think you might be too close to the guard. And I think the front would be close but the little plastic bulge on the inner fender might rub. Let me know if you do though. Looking at a very similar setup only with 18" instead of 17"

Kool thanks, the rims I am looking at are saleen replicas. I have seen a few supras with them on, just wanted to know what if anything they needed to do to get them on. Btw my car is lowered not slammed

Have a chance to pick up some wheels from a local.. currently on a 350z

Not sure what tires he has on them now... waiting on a reply... however specs are:

Front : 18x9 +23

Rear : 18x10 +11

If they will work, how much tire can I run before having issues? How much stick-out am I looking at?

Thanks guys
