i see. i thought they would stick out farther. i think they will be too aggressive up front. do you think that a 18x10.5 will fit if it has a higher offset?
any ideas who makes a 10 or 10.5 inch wheel with a 25-35 offset?
i'm trying to squeeze some 285 or 295's under there :)

the reason i ask is i have a line on some black rpf1's in that size. i know they're a little wide up front and a little narrow in back, but they are awesome rims.
i guess they'll do until i find the PERFECT setup.

I just ordered some XXR 527's
17x8.25 +25mm front
17x9.75 +25mm rear
What tire sizes would fit best? I've got stock springs and tokico blue shocks.
Sorry im new to rims/tires and trying to read through this thread I see so many different combo's its hard to tell what will work, thanks for the help.

I'm thinking 255/35 on the rear and 245/40 on the front. But with your offset they may be just at the edge of the quarter panel lip with that offset. Would be pretty close I think. Whoever is mounting the tire can get it pretty close to what your looking for.

With 255/35 17's I'm thinking your speedo won't be out by much

you can definitely fit 275-40's in back at stock ride height. u was running 17x10.5's +27, with 275'5, and it was a perfect fit.

Aren't 275's a tad wide for a 9.5" rim? Stock is 225/45 16 I think. Not sure I would call 275/40/17 a stock height.

275/40r17 fit just fine on my 9" rim

Okay.. to me.. that's perfect fitment front and back. Can you post specs so I don't have to search? Im looking at getting new rims/tires and really like how yours is setup. Lots of meat and no protusion. Mine are similar, but a little farther to the outside..

275/40 18 on 9.5 +20

That is closer to how mine looks at present. My offset is +37 (I believe) with 255's and if I hit a large bump the lip touches the edge of the tire (sidewall.. not tread).

I thought 275's with a +25 - +20 would stick out farther. Good to see.. cause I wanted to go with 275's

Sure I have 17x9 ET35 all 4 wheels. In front I have 255/40r17 in the rear 275/40r17. I'll take some better pictures here in a bit how it sits with the fenders but I like how they fit.

what is your suspension set up with those. I just ordered a set of xxr 962 17x9 et35 for all four corners and i'm on b&g springs so I was just wondering if you are lowered and if so how much?

you should have no problem fitting those. i ran 275-35-18's on 9.5 +35's. i rolled the fender and it was perfect.
the stock size is 225-50-16, which comes out to 24.9. the 275-40-17's are 25.7. that's less than an inch difference.

EDIT: i DID NOT have to roll the fenders for that setup. i only had to roll them to fit 18x9.5 +20. the +35's fit perfect with stock fenders and lowered on h&r springs.

I'm on Megan coilovers and worn out everything else. I am lowered but I don't know by how much. When I got the car it was slammed as low as the Megan's would go and rubbed like hell and I just raised it up some so don't know where it started out as far as stock ride height to compare.

I'd love to see some more et35 9" wheels here. When I was looking at wheels I took a educated guess as I couldn't find many people running them. Hope the 962's look and fit well with that suspension
