I'm building a MkIIIfor ChumpCar racing. Currently have 1 set of wheels in 16"x7" with 40mm ET, plan on running 225/50-16 tires all around.

I need at least one more set of decent, strong, straight, cheap wheels in 16" with approximately the same width and ET. On ebay I see these two sets, but they don't have the ET listed. Does anybody know if they will fit the MkIII without any problems?

Thanks.

I could easily put another inch of rim/tire width under without even modifying the suspension (stance gr+ coil overs)

11.5 with 315s would be cake.. Now If I added the coilover spacer that SJ aka 2jzmk3 has.. I could fit 325's (obviously I would be adding width inward)

Ya I have mine in as well. That's a pretty small height size tire. I don't think I would like to go smaller than 35. Tho 19's do look good.

how much room is on the inside of the rear wheels? i love the wheel and tire size, but don't want them sticking out that far.

I have another inch of clearance to the nearest suspension component.

I going with a taller height in the back. (35 series) but just because i want a little taller overall height. (gear ratios ;) )

Do you have to roll/pull your fenders? Do you know how much they rubbed before? How low are you? What size tired are you running?

Curious because I have a set of 18x8.5+20fronts and 18x9.5+20rears sitting here in going to get tires for soon

i have 18x9.5 +20 rears, with 255-35-18s. the tire's not even close to the fender. i did just a roll on mine. i think i can fit a 275-35 on there with no issues.

i have the same front wheel size as you. i'm running a 225-45-18 for now. just a roll up front too.

I have 235/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear, however I ordered 275's literally last night to replace the 255's.

I run 255/35 on +25 up front. They will fit on +20 fine. But if your slammed might pull on fender at full lock sometimes.

When I ran 265 up front it pulled on the fender.
