18x9 38mm up front and 18x10 42mm in the rear.

Browsing thru this thread i came across a person with similar fitment.

i have tires for the rear, 275/40/18, brand new got them for free lol
I plan on running 235/40/18 for the front.

Is there a better tire combination to run with these wheels? My only concern is to have enough sidewall to fight againts nyc streets.


and last but not least, i have a white supra. Should i get the gunmetal with polished lip? or black with polished lip?

do the mkiv wheels/tires fit on a mkiii?

i need tires so am looking for a cheap upgrade.

reading previous posts, what does lowering a car help with when it comes to tires?

my car is lowered, i think by someone torching the springs.
im due for new shocks and some kind of new spring also.

I'm thinking of getting spacers for my supra, I wanna stick the wheels out a little more. Right now I have 17x8 front/17x9 rear with +35 offset all around, I have 225/45/17 front/255/40/17 in rear, what would be a good size spacer to go with? any pics of cars with that setup with spacers?

Wheels look good, I have some 19x8.5 +27 front and 19x9.5 +24 rear GTCs waiting to go on. Hopefully it's not too much to get to fit.

This was just a test fit, the wheel seemed to stick out a little bit...

A 19x9.5 +24 is similar to a 19x10 +35 or thereabouts so you should be fine. Remember that the camber gets pretty drastic when the suspension travels up so the tire may clear the fenders if you go lower or are worried about wheel travel clearances.

I think that might rub the shock. But would be really close so only a thin spacer would be needed.

Idle Curiosity. With the exception of the Non-Reinforced cracking issue, has anyone had any trouble running FD Rx7 OEM Wheels? As far as I can figure, the offset difference wouldn't pose much of a problem. However, I understand the Hub bore is slightly off. Would they be plug and play? Or is it necessary to invest any more into them.

and i was wondering if i could rock a 18x9 +15 all the way around with no camber

my fenders are going to be rolled pretty swell i must say and im going to run 225/40's on all four corners


basically could i do it with no degree of camber?


im looking for a really flush fit

Caster-camber plates are pointless on the mkiii, we have double A-arm suspension holding the spindle angle in place. Plates only work on mcpherson struts, as the strut holds the angle in place.

You would need adjustable A-arms in order to adjust the camber.

BTW, I run caster-camber plates on my BMW which has mcpherson struts up front.
