Question..
Just ordered some wheels that are 17x7.5 +40 up front and 17x8.5 +41 for the rear. I have eibach springs on an 88. What would you recommend for tire size. I was thinking 235/45 up front and 245/45 on the rears but I am worried about rubbing.
Thanks,
jamieC

I like those wheels where did you get them from? Any different but similar?

225/45 for the 7.5" and 245/40 for the 8.5". You're far from rubbing.

Im okay with rolling the fenders (if a fender has surface rust is it safe to roll?) but will they not be able to fit if the car isn;t lowered? (I recently lost my garage and have to park the supra in my horrible drive way)

Awesome can't wait to get them finally I found a set I want!

Thanks guys,
Josh

In retrospect, I should have put 245s up front as well. The 235s are too stretched and slightly rub the inner fender at full lock just as the 245s would...I thought they would clear.
Pictures were taken PRE Coilover adjustment so it will be a little bit lower but not much.

Your car looks amazing. I'm not a fan of the stretched tire look, but the body and the rims themselves are very sexy!
