didnt have time to read thru the whole thread. anyone ever try to fit any 305's on the rear of a mkiii? what modifications had to be done? also 295/30/18 is really close to stock in overall diameter right? i forget what stock size is.

shit you can go ahead and put a 195/50/17 on a 9 or 10inch tire if you want..just to get that extra lowness and then roll your fenders to go the extra mile

pretty sure you can fit 305 on a mk3..i mean if you can fit 10inch in the back..pretty sure you can..

I have seen 18X10 F+R with an offset of +19. Will 19X10 F+R with and offset of +20 fit? I have no problems with rolling fenders. Am i able to lower the car at all? Would a set of tein flex's bring the car too low and cause rubbing?

What would you guys recommend for wheels from this site: www.1010tires.com, looking for 17's for under $200 per wheel, what would you guys suggest would look the best on a midnight blue Mk3? im not really into chrome or black, I feel silver or bronze would look much better on my car.
Reason for 1010tires is because they are local and the best prices.
So far I like the bronze falken hanabi's for $165/wheel, seen them mounted "backwards" on a 240 before and they looked sweet, but hmm.. 42mm offset? would that be alright?

With a 10 inch wheel and a +20 offset you will need a fender roll. Fitments depends on the tire size as well. With a roll you will probably need a stretch on the tire using a 245 or so, any wider and you might need a fender pull.

Currently the rears have 245/40/18 and have a slight stretch to prevent rubbing, but with the new rears, the lip of the wheel is flush with the fender and it needs a roll, but im going to get the wheels lips refinished and get new tires mounted on them before they get mounted on the car.

Just dont want to get tires to find out they still wont fit in there.
Oh and I want to see if I can fit the old rears up front. Anyone know of any issues with a low pad (concave face) GT-C 18x10 up front?
