Any car from any time frame. for example would a camero with an lt1 engine get burned by a 1989 supra turbo, or vis versa?

are you asking if they had 0 miles, off the showroom, or with 100,000+miles like most have today.
for example, when my 87t was stock it got spanked by a Honda Oddysey:3d_frown:

Lol that is a very broad range of cars!

You arent going to beat very many modern cars with a stock mkIII

The stock mkIII so damn slow... The power range I would put a stock mkIII in would be the integras, civic si, all 80’s sports cars minus the high dollar cars, pretty much all 6 cylinders NA's from the 90’s up.

there is a 89 turbo supra w/ about 150,000 miles on it i wanna buy sooo bad but my dad thinks i should get a 95 v6 camaro. if i get the camaro im thinking of putting a ls1 engine in it. What do you guys think? (camaro has 90,000 miles on it)

Get the supra or just buy a camero with an lt motor. However boost is a magical thing :)

If you rebuild the stock motor, upgrade the stock turbo, get some 550's injectors, lex afm or maft-pro and get it tuned and you smoke most z28/SS cameros that arent track cars.

Thats exactly what i wanted to do, i just dont wanna make a mistake and get a slow car that takes 200,000 to make fast. i know people that have made over 700 horses with 50,000 or less. Ive been doing my homework on this car for about 3 years and dont know anything about camaros. But ive also seen some mean twin turbo camaros out there 2. idk im sooo confused rite now!!!!

Beat up MK3s are pretty slow. That's why people should rebuild them.

If you really want a car to go fast for cheap go get a car with an LSX engine or something along those lines :)

There is nothing to be confused about why buy a v6 camero just to swap it? Just spend 1500 more and get the 5.7....

lol research people who spend that kind of money …. Only spent it because they experimented and failed and had to do things over and over again.

$8000 will get you a 11' sec mkiii

$1200 big t4
$500 IC and Pipes
$800 3.5 exhaust
$3500 built motor (forged everything)
$500-1000 good clutch
$1000 miscellaneous (bigger wheel etc)
