Engine Bay Pictures: Even with the 2jzgte...My Goal was to make it
look stock! Like factory....People here in Europe think the mk3 came in
some editions with a 2jz from factory powerplant :sarcasm:
Guess what? I am the guy messing up with their minds :biglaugh:

(it took me 6 months to swap the 2jz in and to put together all the
performance parts)

Enjoy:

The swap was completed almost 2 years ago....I still buy parts to upgrade
the 2jz to full BPU +++ level. Almost there.
I will update soon with more pictures.....:sarcasm:

Nothing was fabricated to fit the 2jz in. Only toyota oem (new) parts!
If you can find these parts (mainly 1jz parts) you are ok.
Most important parts are : 1jz....bellhousing,flywheel,rear sump oil pan and
engine brackets/mounts. It seats there like it was ment to be there!
And last....the 'story' of hiting the firewall about 1.5 inches is not true.
I just moved away (up and down) the ABS lines to make some room, and
gently hit the firewall 1 cm (less than an inch) for the motor to have some
'air' to play!

I've done the wiring myself...and I am not an electrician or a
big 'wire' guru :biglaugh:

But at the end...after you've done the 2jz swap, you'll get paid back!
Incredible engine!!! :biglaugh:
