my reupholstery build

so my interior was nasty and i decided to reupholster it instead of finding desently clean interior to swap out check it out ill update as I get it done

so heres my console lid ..pretty bad just like most

the foam was pretty bad off so it needed built up

so i got the foam filled in and shaped up

got my patterens cut out

wraped the foamm with a thin cloth to help protect the foam and also so you cant tell the foam was repaired.

i added 1/4" foam to add more comfort and a better look then factory.

so here is my passenger seat back rest

tore down and all seams marked

i have my inserts, collars, and boxings made up readt to sewn together

all sewn up.. i think my vinyl and cloth chocies look good together .
went with a carbon fiber vinyl and ash grey micro suede which feel amazing!

test fit was perfect not too happy how the head rest zipper turned out on the vinyl so i need to got back and fix that but other than that all seams line up and look amazing

well I got it for 34.75 a yard but that was with a discount

Not a huge fan of the cf look for an interior but I certainly do appreciate your work and talent. I do believe it'll be better looking than the original though.

is there any way to make temples with sew lines?
how many yards did you use in total?

i tried this once on a girlfriends car (she could sew), it did not go well

ya when i first orderd it i wasnt all the bigg about it but i didnt find too many vinyls that caught my attention but its starting to grow on me
