I would cry.

i did. sitting in the pouring rain with my first 89t all smashed up on 101. not a fun day. i just got done putting a new engine in it a month before. i know that horrible feeling. at least it was out of your hands. it was all my fault when i crashed.

Damn, that hurts. But at least you got out of it okay, and there's enough salvagable out of her to get you started on your next one.

Hang in there...

terrible dude, i know what you mean about how fast it spreads, theres just so much to burn off in a car...
i carry a two extinguishers in my car, a dry chem, and a co2. dry chem for fuel, or anything outside the car, and the co2 just in case something in the car lights...because if you discharge a drychem in the car your interior is toast...

Loco, you seem to be handling this very intelligently! Props to you for not getting defensive when opinions were voiced,,,,,,,especially mine. Looking back it looks a little harsh. I didn't mean it that way. good luck with the next one, or whatever your next adventure will be.

That really sucks man. If that happened to my car i would definitely be super depressed for a few days. But on the bright side, you have really opened up your intercooler piping for increased flow?

I wouldn't be reusing that engine without a thorough inspection :(

Damn I'd also chuck a tarp over it all so I didn't get depressed more than you must be now.

yea, it looks like that poor thing may have been exposed to some serious heat, if you do swap that into another car i might look into at least getting another head for it...
i still have some parts taking up space in my garage from my 7m like coil packs and wires and stuff, if your interested in any of it shoot me a pm...i would be willing to make a donation to help you get into a running car.

i just hate to see stuff like that happen to fellow supra fanatics...or anyone for that matter
