My black widebody MKIII with 2JZ-GTE and V-160

This started out with me just going to change the exhaust system in 2003 but the car hasn't left the garage since. The project grew day by day and now 8 years later I am almost positive it will see the roads again this summer.

The alu-bushings I measured and my friend made them, also sold some on Supra-forum here in Sweden.

I used the Flaming River Mustang 5.0 quick ratio rack.

Woooooowww. That's a great build thread. Congrats on your efforts to take your mk3 to another level.
Euro Supras rock! LOL. One question though : what rear end/diff will you use? Also what diff gear? 3.7 is the
lowest oem diff on our cars. Maybe you have the rare 3.54 gears.

I did study the installation of the 6 speed Getrag on our mk3 Supras and found out that the only way to get close
to the mk4 Supra turbo manual rear gearing (3.1 export / 3.2 import gearing) is to use if possible :
-V161 Getrag trans (the V161 trans has the first 4 gears longer than the V160),
-3.54 rear diff ring and pinion (the 3.54 is the longest gear we can fit in the mk3 pumpkin),
-Big diameter wheels , rim/tire combo. (like 265-45/17' or 285-35/18' or 295-30/19),
-Built head with cams/springs/retainers etc. for higher revving/redline using a standalone EMS (8000rpm or 8500 should do)
With the above stuff the 1st gear will be very very usefull..like having the stock 3.1 mk4 rear differential !

Regarding the rear-end I have a 3.54 from Mark Williams installed using some part from Nissan Kingcab. Sorry I dont have more info on this than that because I had it made by an rear-end expert here in Sweden. I do have an AEM EMS and 315-35/17 tires so I do think first gear will be ok.
