Nice car... This rhd mk3 Supra values around $20-25K rightnow , when it will be finished with more parts added should reach the $30K mark...
Nick's mk3 should start from $30K. These kind of mk3s at this 'caliber' do cost a lot of money if someone wants to purchase one,
cause it costs double or triple to get it built and reach that upper level.
You GET what you PAY for !!!

Bor, what do you think of running these wheels, XXR 526, and offsets in the front.

Link: http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-526-Wheels-17x9-Gloss-Black-p/52679082.htm

Front 17x9 +35mm

Rear 18x10.5 +20MM

I have a set of Volks on my car which is in my build thread but just saw these and they look okay. Not sure about the quality though since my Volks are top notch.

XXR are okay wheels many people use them but you will probably never see me running them. As for offsets they are okay it really just comes down to what you want to do and what size tire you want to run.

Thanks, The main difference in price is that Nick as actually trying to sell his car and we are not. This is a car in the middle of the build and we are not going to stop because someone claims they want to buy it.

265 in front will work. Rear.. offsets are too low for those sizes. Look for something in the +35 or higher range if you want to run meaty tires.

They have a nine inch wheel with a +35 offset but that is too small to run those size tires. O well, I am keeping my Volks then.

I have been doing some looking around. Finally found a rim I like, 18x9.5 +35 for the rear. What's the largest tire I could fit, 285?

Will I have to roll the fenders?

The first picture is nice, you should post that in Kenny's Calendar thread.

Slight update since I have not been around. Car is waiting to be tuned in the next week or 2. I been busy with school and work so have had no time to play with this car. If tuning goes well I will be doing a Drifting/Gymkhana event in 3 weeks.

*edit* Just found out the event has been canceled! Dang it was looking forward to see what this car could do.

If you are talking about the body, I believe he used PPG since I asked a few pages back.

Here is a shot of my car done in PPG as well, but still needs a wet sand and buff. Shadow is where I was parked.

No matter what paint you use, the prep work is what will make it either a good paint job or a bad one.

If you don't mind me asking BorHor what paint did you use? it looks awesome! and very nice car props!

Truthfully I have no clue what paint was used.

Small update:

Looks like we will be throwing a 6 speed in this car eventually... that should be an interesting swap.
