I'd prefer the verticle flow (bottom) intercooler Carries more rows and fins than the top one.

Finally got my PCV system rectified. No more seals and valve covers blowing up oil after giving it a bit of gas. Feel the engine breathing alot better now and running more efficiently.

Correct me if I am wrong but I looked at the Arp head studs part number for the 7m and and crossed referenced on their online manual guide It says 90 ft lbs. I do remember supracentral saying torque the studs according to the manual

You can get to it by dropping the fuel tank without the need of dropping the sub-frame or diff..

One reason Toyota used a rubber/soft pipe was to dampen the vibrations to the AFM.

I'd say make the effort on making the car convienent to drive. We have to make comprimises unfortnately.

If above all doesn't work..... check your fuel filter or sock' on the fuel pick up is clogged.. You have to drop the fuel tank though... So try the other suggestions first before going towards that.
