I previously own a 89 supra turbo. I remember every time I let go of the gas, it has a smooth deceleration.. On my 91 turbo, every time I let go or step of the gas, there is jerk fwd/back. I checked timing and TPS and they are pretty much in spec.....Any suggestions? Thanks
I found the part number for RH door-lock bezel (69761-14010-04) from TSRM. I looked at 5 toyota parts website and its giving me a default part number (69761-14010-01) no matter what color code I put in. I was told that it is probably coming in as a black default color. Can anyone verify this...
I know this question may have been posted a while back. I have 1991 supra turbo everything stock. If compared to my old 89 turbo, the 91 supra seems to go up in operating temperature half the time of the 89, both at idle. Also, I know the fan should disengage at some point after it cools down...

I know this is a repetitive question. I was just wondering if anybody can tell the exact difference between the earlier 91 subframe vs later 91 subframe? Pictures maybe?
Any body tried this turbo? What u guys think?

Can a bad coolant sensor make the car run sluggish? I have a 91 turbo stock. On the first start up, it runs normal but when it reaches normal operating temp, it runs sluggish.
I have a stock 91 turbo... When I start driving it cold its ok... But when it gets to a point where the temp suppose to be (like halfway) the fan is always engage and it robs a lot of horsepower from the engine... Please help... And it car does not overheat...

OK. This may sound stupid. The HKS Turbo catback came with a flat flange gasket that goes in between the cat and flange. I took the stock exhaust off and it does not have a flange gasket but it has that crushed WASHER/GASKET in between the cat. Do I have install both or just install the flat...

I have been getting very poor gas mileage on my 91 turbo. Before, I had that massive exhaust leak due to the strip exhaust manifold bolt. Thanks to Jose, they put my car back to life. It did not take long before it had this funny smell and poor gas mileage. The smell is like bad fumes from...
I have eibach tokico illumina set up. When I try to bounce the car from the rear, it makes the sound. I thought it was a basic tightening of the strut but I was surprised when I got to the shock part, everything was tight. When I drive at slow speed, it sounds like popcorn on the back. What...
I have 1989 turbo and a 1991 turbo. Both has r154 transmission but I noticed that there is a 200rpm difference on all gears. I am crusing 50 mph 4th gear and my 89 is at 2250 rpm but my 91 is at 2450 rpm. Is there any difference between these two regarding about the years they were made?
