Yeah, that sounds about right.... make sure the surface of the lens has a nice curve to match the back, I used a file to remove any small lumps, this will also help with the adhesive. I also found that sealing it after wards with silicone helps to keep it water tight.

OK, On the UK forum I’ve offered to sort out a small guide to show how I’ve done this mod for a couple of cars with tools most (if not all) people have at their disposal. I can post it here as well (or at least a shortcut to it) if anyone wants.

Yeah, OK fair but when you convert to Aussie dollar (I think Havoc13 is from down under), expensive for what you get, after all they look STD until you turn on the lights, break or indicate. Yeah, I like them but these cars are going for about £1000 here in the UK and its hard to justify...

I think the only cheap bit you can get are the crystal clear front indicators. The backs and side repeaters are a bit more specialised and so silly money. the cheapest way for clear backs (depending on if you like them or not) is this guy...
