Yeah I understand what you mean. I have some experience with rebuilds, but I also have access to the shop at my school and my instructor is an ase certified master tech so he could help me as well.
I don't plan on running more than 12psi or so. The engine didn't come with the stock twins so instead of just getting them and knowing that they would probably go bad after awhile i'm just piecing together a single kit mostly for reliability.

Well it doesn't matter for me now since the car literally just got a bhg, but it had a 60-1 with hard ic pipes and fmic running only stock boost without a tune. It had a lot of blow by coming from the ports on the valve covers though when I looked at it closer.
