2 duds with Federal Hydroshok .45

I swapped out my hammer spring from an 18 pound to a 16....never had a failure to fire...I think the fact that Springfield armory uses 9 mm firing pins in their 45's so it is a bit more of a sharp point it doesn't take as much force to deform the primer. Light strikes was my main fear after...

2 duds with Federal Hydroshok .45

Are you constantly chambering those rounds and then unloading them for whatever reason? It's been documented that continuing to chamber the same round over and over can actually knock the primer charge off the brass and cause a dud...As well as push the bullets back further into the brass...

    alright time to debate

You are making this more complicated than it really is. Just get a good turbo...ball bearing....if response is your goal and don't get a turbo that will flow 700 hp if you're only going for 450....bigger is slower down low. As far as manifold goes....cast stock mani keeps the turbo close to...

    Interested in Reloading

The larger the round the more you save.... .40 is worth it to load as there is savings to be made and the more you shoot the more you save....today you can't load 9mm cheaper than you can buy it but anything bigger does net gains. Look into an rcbs rock chucker press...single stage and...

Just replace rod bearings and go ?

You don't need to remove the crank to put rod bearings in....but the whole idea sounds shady....it will knock again.

Any 2 Wheel Lovers on the forums

Fine and dandy if you're a 110 pound rider:-/. I'd shoot for something 400cc or bigger myself...90 percent of bike accidents are cause by people in vehicles not seeing you, not because your bike has too much ass. Get something with a bit of balls so you won't need to buy another bike in a year...

Any 2 Wheel Lovers on the forums

Yeah I find myself doing that rather often...I need bar risers to make it more comfortable to do that all the time...the bike is set up more for dirt that road in stock form so with some minor adjustments I'm sure I'll feel more control at highway speeds:-) Needs stiffer front springs as it...
