leave the doors unlocked, lol. easiest way anyways...i know its not an option. there should be some info in here about installing an aftermarket alarm, if you search im sure youll find something similar and instructions inside on how to remove the factory alarm.
all ive had for bearings is king, and they have their logo stamped in the bearings looks like this: its really just the "I" and the "C" looking part thats stamped in, nothing actually says king.
i think ij said he hates that brand because they smear with high load/oil pressure...5k miles on...
you need the tsrm from here:

check your door and hood switches.
anyone correct me if im wrong, but i thought i read of some people tying a shock sensor into the factory setup? wish i could be more help.
crazy how instructions work huh? i say fuck the system, i dont wanna remove the pressure plate and clutch yet....whateva, whateva-i do what i want.
maybe going back in with the pp+disc on the input shaft might give enough clearance to go in without turning.
agreed with the starter, but i...
got the trans on the ground today...damn was it simple!
has anyone else had to turn the trans counterclockwise about 90* to get it to clear the tunnel? seems like the space where the starter sits is too wide for it to come straight out no matter what angle the motor/trans is and it only...
today cleaned out the garage to get the car in so i can rebuild the r154. i just saved $67 on my rebuild on marlin's site for 4th of july sale...litterally got it last min, email says 11:59.
got the works, rebuild kit, bearing retainer, 1-2 fork, thrust washer, and even got the snap ring pliers...
i decided im going to go to marlin direct, the only reason being is the rebuilt kit. the kit that driftmotion sells is factory toyota where marlin sells the heavy duty stuff in their kit. the only part ill actually need from dm is their 3-4 shift fork. hell, marlin even sells the snap ring...
ok guys, heres my list from driftmotion
can anyone tell me if theres something im missing here, or from another site before i check out please?
also, if theres something on the list thats cheaper from another site please share.
id also like to know what you mean by priming the strut.

youll get some body roll if youre on stock springs, mostly because the ride height is so high...
yeah i figured it was a freak coincidence...good thing tx changed our plates, that is total fucking win right there.
still wondering what my new ones gonna be...fml ---- would fit mine perfect right now
im not nervous about doing it myself...the only thing im nervous about is upgrading something i didnt truly need or worse, not upgrading something thatll break a few years down the road
i blew out my thrust washer in the r154 today...fml
seems like every 2 days something else breaks.
started with afm, then upper rad hose, then my amp wire corroded through to the fuse, carrier bearing finally gave out bad enough to replace, and today i get in like, "i got you now fucker" and...
all was great the other day, then i jump in today and it grinds out of first intermittently (more often than not though) a quick searching tells me my thrust washer is more than likely blown out.
looks like 80 bucks for the marlin upgrade and whatever the cost of seals and such wont cost too...
did it just the other day, fits great. almost no guess work. had to trim my hoop bracket part i made one extra time and wallow out the bolt holes on it to get it just right but it works great and my part has a lifetime warranty.
thankyou for posting that, i did mine todaythe exact same way. part from oreilly 29.22 and a 2ft piece of flat from home depot 11.84 for a total of 41.06 to replace my old raggy ass bearing. i didnt have to wallow out any holes in the actual mount itself, but the bracket piece i made was a...
