Mine starts everytime I hit the key. The only time it doesnt I just nudge the gear selector forward a bit. (Really need to adjust that BTW.)

I am going to be the oddball and here and say I am glad he gave you a ticket and I hope there are a million more on the way for drivers with improper running/tuned cars. I cant stand getting behind a car the has oil/fuel smoke wafting out of the tail pipe. Then getting aspirated by the fumes as...
I have to agree with IJ on this. Doing brakes for the first time, it really should be mandatory that you at least see someone else doing the job first. Then with lots of questions properly answered tackle the job.
When you first test drove the car and noticed diminished brake performance is...
Your gauge was giving you false information when the WP locked up. The water at the temp sending unit may have only been 180-220° F. The temp around cylinder #5 or 6 could have been 300-360° F which would have been enough to burn the headgasket. The coolant wasnt flowing and therefore...
No they werent! I made lots of money on the first gen oil leaks. Those were great little cars for me. Of course Chrysler redesigned the head gasket and ruined all of my fun.
In any of these 2 years did they advise you on the dangers of cross contaminating a system with incorrect fluids? Until you reach some fairly high temps that are associated with constant hard braking, such as that seen on a track, it is very unlikely that brake fluid fade is his culprit.
As...
How does a cracked intake = leaking coolant?
I would more suspect an expansion plug has let go. A head gasket is very unlikely to spill coolant outside of the block.

Blood, sweat, curse. Rinse and repeat as needed. To give you a slight amount of room, loosen the trans mount and raise the tranny. It doesnt give you much but just enough to let my modified tap go in straight.
Did you give Memphis Truck a call? They are located over off on Brooks Rd and have the machiines to build a driveshaft. If you need to know more get a hold of me.
