Remove the glovebox. It is above it.

Check the dimmer/rheostat. If it is bad it will not allow the lights to work. May also be unplugged.

Nope, we have a democracy of sorts here in the USA.

First problem I see, the MLS gasket on a block that hasnt even been cleaned very well from a composite gasket. Compression coming up with oil indicates the rings are not sealing.

Loose valve shims FTL!! For the starting issue: Check timing first. This includes cam and CPS timing. Sounds like a tooth off. If all of that lines up, then check for injectors leaking down.

Unless you are doing strict racing the NA is the worst. Its ratio just eats away any mileage you may have wanted. If I had the choice I would go with the 3:90 rear end. It would be the best all around ratio.

If you dont want TEMS functionality anymore you can bolt in any shock. If you wants TEMS however your choices are very limited.
