now, what if you want to make a 600rwhp+ 7mgte, what kind of piston/rod/bearing/whatelse would you need to get. Also, would the instruction mentionned by hyvman still apply or would there be new stuff?
In my case, when I went 550/lex maf, my mpg went down the drain.

my factory HG is now at 257000km, never overheated. boosting 18psi daily on a 57trim, no prob
but I put proper torque on the head bolts. I think that's what saving it
so if your wastegate isn't opening fast enough or wide enough to limit the flow, you won't be able to fix that by restricting the vacuum late and making it operate even later
it's trying to obtain the same amount of fuel pressure in the rail but you're removing that pressure faster because of the larger nozzle IIRC.
Still running below 10:1 with a 57m trim and 550cc, lex maf and stock FP
using a OEM stock head gasket with proper torque on the bolts is a convinience more than anything, it will hold 350rwhp and maybe outperform that. but one single detonation and it's done.
you will sleep well better at night if you get yourself a MHG and prep the engine properly
