^they also have been known to come with bhg's and rod knock. you can find gte blocks easy. just ask a jz guy they prolly got one sitting around. post on the want to buy area and look in the for sale section.
if your on stock hg your motor is not going to last very long.
pull the door panel off.
find the connector for the motor.
add power to one side.
add ground to the other.
if it goes down switch sides with power and ground and it will go up.
if nothing happens or it clicks like you already said your motors toast.
its not necessary and you don't have to pull everything out the replace that just remove the oil pan.
if you search threw the vendors there's also a bigger hard pipe hat some makes that in my opinion would be a better choice.
its 2 gaskets and there under 4$ each from Toyota. go to Toyota and not some shit aftermarket gasket company. stock gaskets work great. Toyota's fipg also works great.

check your afm.
tubros have a air flow meter n/a's have a mass air flow sensor.
the afm is what controls the fuel pump once its started so that would be your trouble area since your not getting fuel.
