my old 7mge would smoke cause of bad valve stem seals on cold start up. never ran a cold engine if i did even slowly i would have to add oil.
get a good working pcv system. filters have zero vacuum which is needed to pull the pressure out of the engine.
i would say replace the valv stem...
pedal free play is where you push in the clutch slightly and it doesn't touch the clutch. should be the first inch, like push in the first inch nothing then it start's to dis-engage the clutch.
your not going t0 get the head bolt threades filled with crud from re-torqing. when re-torquing you need to break loose about 1/4 turn then re-torque to about 72ft lbs if sock head bolts. fill the rad and drive it if you start getting problems its t the hg. get mhg and your good to go for...
with or with out it it reallly does not matter. all it does is effect the emissions. other than that it does not give you any hp or lose any hp.. bolt on a bigger turbo with supporting mods and you'll do a lot better.
lojacks do not look like that. at least the 2 generations i have installed. early warning or not.
what is power and ground hooked up too? constant 12v? where does the antenna go?
its not a flaw and its not the machinist fault. its a pit. the metal corroded away in that spot. if it is inside the cc it wont affect anything. if you read what others said in this thread you would know that by now....
8k aint bad at all to start with. you can get some good go fast parts with that. plus a you can get decent running cars for 2k and under. so if the car is 2k then you have 6k left get some megan coilovers and you left with 5k for the engine. not bad. more than most put into there builds.
whoopty do. the car weighs 3500 pounds. up the boost get more mods and that drivers seat wont be a concern.
