If its spinning in reverse the reverse idler gear is stuck and you would have to pull the case apart and pop it out. Had a spare trans that had that happen.
Its just a u bend that comes back around. If you moved the coil packs to the firewall you wouldnt need to the 2jzge coils. Kind of restrictive.
Kinda like the 1ggte.
Valve stem seals would not be part of a leak down test. Only whats in the combustion chamber so either a valve hg or ring.
Have you dont a compression test?

K&n oild filters, the oil goes through the filter and onto the afm and so does dirt and then the afm is ruined. They dont filter good either.
