That is a very odd brake sound. Maybe you got a bad caliper out of the batch or perhaps water in the system and the is rust to where the caliper doesn't operate smoothly? Just a guess. never heard of anything like that unless something was loose.

Do you have the the grounds connected to the bottom of the intake? Are you getting spark? Jump fp and b+ in the diag box under hood and see if the pump comes on.

It should be plug and play. Did it to my buddys 87 with the wheel off my 89. The 88 and 89 have the same features on the wheel. 90+ has a different wheel with air bag and 90+ has a different control panel to the left of the wheel. 89- has the same panel for fog lights and such.
