Dont think its in the tsrm.
Just pull the cluister and everything off, steering wheel center console, glove box and then you will start seeing all the bolts to remove the dash. I think theres like 10-15 actually holding it in place.
Dash harness does not need to come out.

Would be better to remove the pp that way you don't have to pull the trans back as far and you have more clearance for sliding the motor out.
If has been sitting that long than chances are the valve stem seals are rotted. If enough oil is burned it will come out white. And that's also th exact symtom of valve stem seals but majorly bad.
440s are bigger and all 440s are black through all the years. N/a injectors are yellow or green like already stated. So you ahve something like 315's or something.
Looks sort of the same but is the od of the ranger driveshaft the same as the supra where it mounts? Dont think they were meant to take apart either.
Can get the toyota one for 180 if you call the right dealers. and it will last.
