All depends on the lift of the cams. Might be able to get away with some comp cams big block chevy inner springs or might have to go with some bc springs or ferrea dual springs. Also depends on how high your revving.

Not worth it at all. You coudl get all that from summitracing.com or amazon.com for far cheaper. Plus its got the fittings already on the hoses from the looks of it. Better to just make your own from sctrach. And use a thermostat.
If it hydro locked it wouldn't crank. As if the cylinder was filled with water it would try crank and compress and you can't compress a liquid so it would stop and not be able to crank any farther. That is unless you broke some internals which would have involved either a lot of noise or a hole...
Base fuel pressure is what your setting with the afpr. Spec is 33-40 psi. It will be rising rate so for every psi of boost the for will add 1 psi of fuel pressure.
