im about to under take this task also... got oil all over the motor and where the spark plugs go. i gather that all i need is the 2 valve cover gaskets, some FIPG/"right stuff' aka RTV sealent and new hex bolts to replace the phillips head screws. is that all? where would be a good place to...

i let you know when i get it fully installed. then i have to do the break-in period of at least 500 miles. XTD claims that they can hold 400HP and like 480 ft/lbs....

good runs. when i was going to buy a newer car, it was a toss up between the MK4 Supra (which i probably couldnt have afforded) or the '03-'04 Cobra.

this is what i was thinking... looked to be dripping from the top of the motor when i looked up with FW removed. this should clean up the oil gathering by the spark plugs too. easy fix? also, thanks for the help... just gonna throw the tranny in there tommorrow and put some miles on her to...

so i have the clutch release bearing hub assembly in there correctly?

i have been trying to get this new clutch and flywheel installed and man, its being a huge PITA!! anywho, was wondering if you guys could look at a few pix and help me out.... 1st/2nd pix, does everyone's tranny look this dirty inside the bellhousing and on the outside? mine had oil all over...

currently down for clutch/FW, full tune-up and full exhaust install. also waiting on a new factory turbo inlet tube to arrive... my old was hard as a rock and broke in my hands while removing it.

dude, i am almost certain that you would have to roll the rears atleast and probably the fronts too. good luck with this and i want to see the completed pix!!

yeah, i just want to remove it to free up some space in the engine bay. i dont have to worry about emissions either. so you just capped it off by screwing a screw into the hose coming from the tank?

did you drill a hole in the gas cap? and doesnt that filter still allow the vapors to escape? could you post up a pic of it?

true. they had nothing to loose, really. if they just built it from leftover parts, might as well go out with a win or with a big bang!!

check your grounds... im almost positive thats what it is. if not, it could be a fuse.

is there a "HOW - TO" thread on this mod? just not to sure about drilling a hole in the gas cap. will that throw a CEL? what did you use to block off that line?

no doubt about it... plus the Civic guys should of used that fake nitrous bottle to their advantage more.
