if you have a Supra that came from the factory with TEMS, could you just swap the suspension parts (springs, struts, etc.) from a non-TEMS equiped car? Or if your TEMS does go out, just get new springs/struts or coilovers and they will bolt right in?

didnt read past your first post, but have you though about Subaru's WRB (World Rally Blue)? im gonna repaint mine either WRB or their Crystal Grey Metallic.

not at the moment... course, i seem to keep on breaking the things im not trying to fix... so i am sure there will be more stuff i need down the road. the last owner keep this Supra stock, but also, mustve never done more than a basic tune-up. Just what are your thoughts on the Cooleeze turbo...

tubbie. good, please bring it when you come to pick up the car... that would be great. also, does anyone have a replacement turbo inlet pipe? or should i just get the Cooleeze one? man, all this stuff is brittle and breaking or is cracked already.

well, been removing all the old, brittle and breaking rubber hoses off my '88 Turbo... man, these things are brittle as hell!! anywho, broke this... ...i believe that it is the charcoal canister VSV? i broke off the nipples. where can i get a replacement?

yeah, i think thats right. i was just throwing that out there, not supporting the Megan or Teins. you get what you pay for.

im pretty sure that the Megan coilovers are just copies of the Teins. you get what you pay for, but how hard can it be to just copy an item that has already been developed properly?

keep in mind though, that those guys have done all the maintainence on their motors and they are all in tip-top running shape.

all i know is that the initial costs of making the car run right and replacing all the old and worn parts (theres alot, its an '88!) is starting to add up. but i figure once i get a solid base of a car, and then its time to rebuild the engine. but after all that it shouldnt be too much of a...
